Wolves could accept a lower fee for star man

After the success at Molineux throughout the 2023/24 campaign, departures in some form are expected from fans.

While outcasts such as Fabio Silva and Daniel Podence are seen as expendable, there is a growing fear that at least one star will leave.

Pedro Neto has been linked away throughout the season as he continues to shine every time he steps out onto the pitch. It was believed that Wolves would demand £80 million for his services.

However, after an injury against Fulham ruled him out for the season, journalist Johnny Phillips believes that the club could accept as low as £40 million.

Thankfully, it appears that this crisis is now coming to an end. Matheus Cunha is back in action and has already netted twice while Hwang Hee-Chan also made a recent substitute appearance.

Throughout the season, Wolves have seen multiple players sent out on loan. Many of these are academy graduates. However, some once played a role in and around the first team.

One man who was once close to breaking through was Yerson Mosquera. The Colombian was later sent out on loan to the MLS before departing for Villarreal in January until the end of the season.

Now, Gary O’Neil has revealed that he plans to assess the centre-back in the summer with the aim of using him next season.
