Taylor Swift appears to have written a song about Kim Kardashian, who she has had ongoing drama with ever since Kanye West stole the mic off the singer at an awards night many years ago.
Most recently, Kim Kardashian hired Taylor’s tour opener, Sabrina Carpenter, for a SKIMS photoshoot. Now, Taylor seems to be fighting back in her new song lyrics for Thank You Aimee, on her fresh album.
Taylor Swift’s song ‘about Kim Kardashian’
Taylor wrote a song called thanK you aIMee, which is believed to be about Kim Kardashian. Swift fans noticed a major sign – that the capital letters in the song title spell out ‘Kim’.
For years, Taylor and Kim have had ongoing drama ever since Kim’s ex-husband, Kanye West, stole the singer’s mic off of her and claimed Beyoncé should have won the award instead.
Taylor previously said their feud “took her down psychologically,” as per The Mirror. On Ye’s 2016 song Famous, he rapped: “I feel like me and Taylor Swift might still have s*x. I made that b***h famous.”
Thank You Aimee lyrics hint at Kim
The 24th song on Taylor’s album involves lyrics such as “”There’s a bronze spray-tanned statue of you and a plaque underneath it / That threatens to push me down the stairs, at our school.”
She sings: “And so I changed your name, and any real defining clues / And one day, your kid comes home singing a song that only us two is gonna know is about you.”
North and Kim share a TikTok together and have previously danced along to Taylor’s 2014 hit Shake It Off. In another section, Swift says, “B*****, f*** you and your ex-husband.”
Fans react to Swift’s new ‘diss track’
When Swift fans realised the singer appeared to have sung about not just Kim, but North West, they went nuts. Many took to social media to discuss their shock towards the Thank You Aimee track.
One wrote, “kim kardashian waking up tomorrow morning to see her Instagram comments flooded with the snake emoji after Taylor swift just dissed her #ttpd #TSTTPD.”
Another penned, “I’m cryingggg north is gonna blast it every time she’s p****d at kim,” while a fellow fan said: “I hope kim K sees this.” A third added: “MY JAW DROPPED WHEN I FIGURED IT OUT.”
