Sherrone Moore spoke with FOX’s Jenny Taft ahead of his first Spring Game as the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines.

First, Moore elaborated on what it feels like to be in the position he is at the moment, and it’s evident he’s not taking it for granted.

“Phenomenal. Blessings. Humbled. Every expression. Everything you can think of. I’m so excited for our team,” Moore said, prior to the game. “Great celebration today, of our national championship, and excited to watch our boys get to work today.”

As for the plan for Saturday, Moore believes it’s about having a good time, but he does want to see his team show their physicality and speed.

“Yeah, let them go out there. Have fun, do them,” Moore added. “We’ve had a great spring ball, be physical and fast. So just excited to watch them have fun today in the big house.”

Moving into the head coaching role, Moore isn’t losing focus of what got him the job. He wants Michigan to stay aligned in their pursuit of back-to-back titles in 2024.

“Continue to stay in alignment. Continue to work hard, and focus on the process,” Moore stated. “That’s what we continue to do, and I look forward to doing that in the future.”

Alas, Sherrone Moore is going to have some fun during Michigan’s Spring Game, broadcasting live on FOX at the moment.
