'Fuming': Commentator shares what Jack Grealish did in the tunnel at halftime vs Chelsea, cameras missed it

Jermaine Jenas has shared one thing Jack Grealish did at halftime in Manchester City’s FA Cup semi-final match against Chelsea.

After starting in Wednesday’s 1-1 draw against Real Madrid in the Champions League, the winger found himself in the starting XI once again for another one of City’s big games.

In the second half, the Englishman was subbed off for Jeremy Doku shortly after being on the end of a bad-looking challenge from Moises Caicedo.

It was at this point where the commentator shared some details on what he saw from Grealish at this point and at halftime that the cameras missed.

Speaking on the BBC’s commentary of the game, Jenas had this to say when Grealish was taken off in the second half.

He said: “It felt to me like he was just starting to come to life Jack Grealish. He’s fuming with the officials.”

After Johnathan Wilson then pointed out that Grealish was having animated words with the fourth official, Jenas then followed up with this

He said: “He was at half time I don’t know if people at home saw it but we had a view of the tunnel at half time and he was chirping away and it’s no different now.”

Grealish was targeted against Chelsea

In 66 minutes of game time against Mauricio Pochettino’s side, Grealish made four key passes in total.

He was also fouled three times in total, one of which was by Caicedo and earned the midfielder a yellow card, although that wasn’t the challenge the City star wasn’t happy with before he came off.

Having been taken down so many times during the game, it’s understandable, from our point of view, why the winger was so frustrated with the officials at half time and when he left the pitch and got close to the fourth official on the touchline.
