Hammers transfer claim about forward with 100 PL goals/assists will make you sick to your stomach

A Wilfried Zaha transfer claim has been made that will make the West Ham United fans sick to their stomachs.

West Ham have been heavily linked with a move to sign Wilfried Zaha on multiple occasions over the past year so, most recently just last month.

Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needed to bolster his attacking ranks in the January transfer window, after he decided to let Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals leave the London Stadium.

Since the turn of the year, West Ham have been in terrible form, with just four wins from our last 20 games in all competitions.

We have fallen out of contention for the top six, and now it looks like it will be a really difficult challenge for us to finish inside the European spots this term.

Things could have been so different though…

West Ham chased Wilfried Zaha but decided no

The former Crystal Palace man is one of the most dangerous wingers on the planet.

The 31-year-old would undoubtedly have taken us to another level, had we signed him in January. At the very least he would have been another useful options for Moyes.

However, the Scot clearly didn’t agree with that notion…

According to a report from the Guardian, West Ham had the chance to sign Wilfried Zaha in the January transfer window, but Moyes felt as though he wouldn’t strengthen his squad.

The 31-year-old joined Galatasaray as a free agent from Crystal Palace in the summer, and he has bagged 10 goals and five assists in 39 games so far for the Turkish giants. During his time with Palace, Zaha racked up 90 goals and 76 assists in 458 games (Transfermarkt).

68 goals and 32 assists came in the English top flight. He is a proven Premier League star and has a reputation of being one of the very best dribblers in the world.

The 31-capped Ivory Coast international is the sort of player who you love if he plays for your club, but hate him if he’s lining up against you! That really is nothing more than a huge compliment to him.

He has a proven history of terrorising opposing defenders in the Premier League, and he’d have been a real asset for us, had Moyes brought him to the club in January.

West Ham failing to sign Wilfried Zaha in January may well have been the decision that cost us a top seven finish and the chance of winning the Europa League.
