Georgetown lands transfer commitment from Louisville guard Curtis Williams Jr.

Former Louisville guard Curtis Williams Jr. will transfer to play at Georgetown in 2024-25, he announced Saturday via X. He spent just one season with the Cardinals and will have three years of eligibility remaining.

Williams appeared in all 32 games this past season, making four starts. He averaged 5.3 points and 1.3 rebounds per game while shooting 31.7% from the floor.

As a recruit, Williams was a four-star prospect coming out of Brother Rice High School in Bloomington Hills, Michigan. He ranked as the No. 96 overall player and the No. 1 player from the state of Michigan according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
