Of all the Real Housewives shows, it’s safe to say the RHONJ ladies are the most explosive. From Teresa Giudice’s infamous table flip to that Christening showdown, there’s no shortage of over-the-top scenes to think back to. Now, however, it seems there’s some peacemaking going on in the franchise. In the biggest plot twist yet, Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Aydin appear to be friends.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey has served fans some surprises in its time. Plates have been thrown, hair has been pulled, and husbands have been thrown in the pool. Now, an even bigger shocker has arrived in the form of Jennifer and Jackie smiling side by side on social media. Weren’t these the two who hurled insults at each other including how Jackie had a “repulsive demeanor” and Jennifer was “so insulting” Jackie’s “insides were on fire”?

The Real Housewives of New Jersey welcomed Jackie and Jennifer as two newbies to season 9.
Back in 2018, the newcomers, who appeared to be two very different people right from the off, joined Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, and Margaret Josephs on screen.
While Jackie was giving down-to-earth vibes, Jennifer was keen to flaunt her new-found wealth and had no issue in critiquing her co-stars.
One showdown between Jackie and Jennifer erupted over Jackie’s kid’s birthday party. Jennifer called Jackie “cheap” although she has “family money” and Jackie said she “didn’t understand Jennifer’s relationship with money.”
Bravo‘s Jennifer prided herself on throwing the “event of the year” for her children’s birthday parties, while Jackie was more low-key, serving pizza.
Between hurling insults at each other over “being cheap,” and arguing at lavish events it really didn’t seem like the two could ever be friends.
They spent seasons being enemies
As RHONJ season 14 is on its way, the trailer sees some stars “mourning friendships,” and Jackie says she’s “being friends with whoever she wants to be friends with and doesn’t care.”
Speaking on his SiriusXM radio show, Andy Cohen said of another show in the franchise, the Real Housewives of Potomac: “There are all these pockets of women who just won’t even acknowledge each other which is not a recipe for… one of the hallmarks of the Housewives is finding a way to move forward. So that was kind of the directive of the Potomac reunion.”
By the looks of Jackie and Jennifer’s Instagram post, the New Jersey ladies have “found a way to move forward.”

Wearing matching pajamas and matching cowboy hats, the two appear to be besties as Jackie wishes Jennifer a ‘Happy Birthday’.
Jackie acknowledged how their relationship hadn’t been smooth sailing, writing in the caption: “What a long strange trip it’s been! Happy birthday @jenniferaydin! So many good times, too many bad ones, but finally where we belong. Sending you lots of birthday love and cheers to celebrating many more good times together! Happy bday.”
