'I could maybe say' – Rasmus Hojlund drops cryptic hint to Man Utd fans over one teammate who has worst fashion sense

Rasmus Hojlund dropped a cryptic hint to Manchester United fans over the teammate who has the most questionable taste in fashion at Old Trafford.

The 21-year-old Manchester United striker has settled into life at Old Trafford well after his big-money move from Serie A side Atalanta last summer.

Rasmus Hojlund, who was signed in a deal worth a hefty £72m, had to weather the storm during the early part of his life in England after arriving at United.

The former Atalanta man went his first 14 Premier League matches without finding the back of the net before breaking his goalscoring drought in the league.

Hojlund, who scored five times in six Champions League matches, finally scored in the Premier League in United’s 3-2 comeback win against Aston Villa last December.

The Denmark international kick-started 2024 by scoring an impressive six times in five consecutive Premier League matches for United.

However, Hojlund’s rich vein of form was halted in late February after he was sidelined due to an injury, with the United star returning to action last month.

Hojlund on best and worst fashion sense at Man Utd

Rasmus Hojlund has seen his form take a bit of a hit after his return from injury after failing to score in four consecutive Premier League matches.

However, Erik ten Hag is keeping faith with the Manchester United and Denmark striker amid the struggle in form that Hojlund is experiencing at the moment.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Hojlund took part in a fan Q&A and the Danish forward was asked about his United teammates’ dress sense.

The United player admitted that teammate Mason Mount has the best fashion sense, with left-back Tyrell Malacia also having a “nice taste” in clothes.

“I think Mason [Mount] is up there [for the best fashion sense],” Hojlund said.

“Tyrell [Malacia] has nice taste as well, but Mason probably.”

The presenter then asked Hojlund about the United player whose fashion sense he would not want to adopt for himself.

The Red Devils star didn’t outright name one United player, although Hojlund did hint at the position they played in at the Premier League club.

Hojlund continued: “I can’t put anybody out there like that [laughs], but I could maybe say it’s a goalkeeper, but then I don’t need to say anymore, yeah?”

Hojlund on adapting to life in England

Hojlund revealed that he settled into life in England more easily than in other places he has played in his career because he can speak English.

“It reminds me a lot about Denmark, of course, so previously I’ve been playing in Copenhagen with my own language, but I’ve been playing in Austria and Italy where I’ve had to adapt to the language and to learn it as well,” he said.

“Whereas here I speak English already, so it’s been easy for me to adapt in terms of outside the pitch and communicating with the coach, so yeah, I’ve found it good.”
