Cesc Fabregas shares the two current Chelsea players he would absolutely love to coach

Journalist Sirayah Shiraz has shared what Chelsea legend Cesc Fabregas said when she asked him about the club right now.

She took to Twitter to state that the Spaniard told her there were two players in the current squad that he would love the chance to manage.

Fabregas currently works as the assistant manager at Como 1907 in the second tier of Italian football, however he is already being tipped for big things in the coming years.

Fabregas tipped to become top manager

The man he is assistant to, Osian Roberts, thinks he has all the skills to become a top boss already, and will make a real impression on the game.

There is far less certainty over the situation at Chelsea right now, with it seeming that everyone is divided over what the future should hold for Mauricio Pochettino.

It seems as if his end to the season is going to be crucial in whether he keeps his job going into next season, or if they look elsewhere to bring in someone new.

It cannot be said though that Pochettino does not have quality to make things work at Stamford Bridge right now, with a number of top players already there.

Fabregas has seemingly acknowledged the ability of two of those players in particular, with Shiraz stating that he mentioned them as players he would love to coach.

Cesc Fabregas would love to coach Cole Palmer and Cesc Fabregas

She said: “Cesc said he would love to manage Caicedo and Palmer when I asked who in the current squad.”

Cole Palmer has clearly been the standout player under Pochettino this season, with the Blues facing a real task to get a result against Arsenal tonight without him.

Moises Caicedo meanwhile has not quite lived up to the hype as far as some are concerned based on the price they paid for him, although there is clearly the ability there for him to become one of the best in his position in the Premier League.
