Kendall Jenner reveals two things she needs from an espresso martini in sultry ad

Kendall Jenner is oozing sophistication in her latest 818 Tequila commercial this Spring. Collaborating with Emma Chamberlain, the two jump on the current espresso martini trend to promote the Kardashians star’s liquor brand.

Kendall Jenner was just showing off her latest “Coquette” look in a $3k Rodarte dress but now she’s going even more vintage as she shares her must-haves for an espresso martini. The 5ft 9 fashion model strides across the screen in her latest 818 advert. She and Emma break down the “origin story” of the iconic cocktail.

Kendall Jenner’s ‘espresso martini origin story’

When it comes to commercials and advertising, look no further than the Kar-Jenners. They’re always coming up with inventive ways to promote their brands. Take Kim Kardashian‘s latest SKIMS ad where she has an army of Klones, for example. Now, Kenny’s at it, too.

The new 818 ad opens with Emma Chamberlain sitting at a table before she says she “feels like everyone is ordering espresso martinis these days.”

She adds: “It’s like all the rage. When did they even become a thing?”

Emma whips out her phone and says: “Let’s Google it.”

Cue Kendall’s cameo

Then, the commercial sees Kendall, in black and white, playing the role of a model in the 1980s as she walks into a bar and orders a cocktail.

Social media content creator Emma delves into the “espresso martini origin story’ and explains: “The espresso martini is said to have been invented in a London club in the 1980s when a fashion model famously asked the bartender for a cocktail that would, quote, wake me up and f*** me up.”

Emma adds how despite it “feeling like an urban legend,” she “chooses to believe it, even though it’s best not to believe everything you see on the internet.”

Regular Kendall enters the shot and says: “Sorry I’m late, I’m really craving an 818 espresso martini, do you want one? Tastes better with tequila.”

Who is Emma Chamberlain?

Fans are hailing Emma and Kendall “the duo they never knew they needed” as well as “iconic.”

Kylie Jenner also shows her support for Kenny and Emma in the comments section as she writes: “Yesss.”

Emma is the founder of Chamberlain Coffee, a brand that started out as a mail-order coffee company, in 2019.

Prior to venturing into the business world, Emma was a YouTuber. She has 12 million subscribers at the time of writing. She also has 15 million Instagram followers.
