Theo Walcott sends five-word message to Arsenal after 5-0 win vs Chelsea last night

Theo Walcott has sent a five-word message to Arsenal after last night’s incredible 5-0 Premier League win against Chelsea.

The Gunners registered one of their most dominant performances of the season to date with a 5-0 thrashing of their London-based rivals Chelsea, with Kai Havertz and Ben White each grabbing a brace after Leandro Trossard opened the scoring.

With the likes of Declan Rice winning praise as Chelsea fans on social media lauded Havertz, it was quite the performance from Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, who at the time of writing now sit three points clear of Liverpool at top of the table.

And Walcott had a short message for his former club on social media.

And heading into Sunday’s North London Derby, this sort of display was needed from Arsenal, who in recent games against Bayern Munich and Aston Villa have looked way below their usual standards this season.

With key players looking unstoppable last night, this performance could not have come at a more ideal time for Arsenal, who will head into this weekend’s clash with Tottenham with a newfound confidence to get another big result.

Arsenal will want to replicate last night’s performance vs Tottenham

Arsenal needed to remind fans and pundits what they’re capable of when all the right gears are turning, and the Gunners will want to replicate their performance against Chelsea later this week against Tottenham.

A win on Sunday could realistically give Arsenal the boost they need to make that late surge for the Premier League title, with Liverpool and Manchester City yet to play this week.

And replicating their performance against Chelsea will be one way Arsenal can again claim victory over Tottenham, where three points could send the Gunners on their way to the title.
