The U18s at Manchester United have done it again, winning their second trophy of the season, now the star of the show has sent a message.

On Tuesday night, new Manchester United technical director Jason Wilcox watched as Ethan Wheatley scored twice in the 2-1 cup win over Man City.

The U18s have had a remarkable season and it’s being rounded off in style after winning the Premier League North last week, this week it was the PL Cup.

It’s a testament to the academy and the coaching that there are so many excellent players right now through the ranks.

Undoubtedly though, the star of the show was Ethan Wheatley as he scored both United goals in the first half before a half-time exit.

His first goal, in particular, was labelled ‘sensational‘ and was a truly top-drawer moment and showed the development he’s had this season into a top prospect as he continues to be named in match-day squads.

Now, after the win he’s sent a message to the fans, which his teammates have responded to.
