Kim Zolciak wrote ‘RIP Kroy’ on what is believed to be a clickbait Instagram post, suggesting her ex, Kroy Biermann, had died. However, the fake news is not true and has sent fans into utter rage.
Daughter Ariana Biermann has “second-hand embarrassment” in response to the Instagram post, which claimed the link in bio would contain details about his death. Kim Zolciak has turned comments off.
Kim writes cryptic ‘RIP Kroy’ post
Kim has written a cryptic post with the caption, “#RIP 💔 #LinkInBio.” She also shared the same picture and post of her with her ex-husband to her Instagram Story, but black and white, inviting followers to click on a link.
The link takes followers to a Celebuzz article which talks about three celebrities that will be missed in 2023, including Queer Eye star Tom Jackson, Burt Bacharach and TikTok star Nanny Faye.
Kroy is still alive and well, much to fan relief who were convinced he had died. Her daughter Ariana Biermann, has revealed she has “second-hand embarrassment” over the post.
Ariana Biermann said she “physically doesn’t have words” and “almost had a heart attack” when she saw the post. She added, “Let’s see what’s coming next week. I love you, but no.”
One fan wrote, “An RIP clickbait.. haha just when I thought u couldn’t get any lower.” Another penned, “Bro you need to get a life at this point, your husband or ex isn’t dead, why say weird stuff like that?”
A fellow follower said it’s a “new low” for Kim, who shared last week that she was in hospital. On the same day she posted the ‘RIP Kroy’ upload, Kim hosted an online giveaway that fans aren’t convinced by.
Kroy and Kim’s relationship timeline
Kim filed for divorce from Kroy in May 2023 after 11 years of marriage. They are parents to six children together and have reportedly been facing financial issues, as per Daily Mail.
The former The Real Housewives of Atlanta star listed her separation date from Kroy in April 2023, as reported by TMZ. Paperwork states their marriage is “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation”.
Kroy legally adopted Kim’s daughters from her previous relationships, Brielle, 26, and also Ariana, 21, whom the reality star shares with ex-husband, Daniel Toce, and have four of their own.
