Cesc Fabregas names £175k-a-week Man City star in his all-time Premier League XI

Cesc Fabregas has included one of Manchester City’s current players in his all-time best Premier League team.

Having won five Premier League titles over the past six years, the Blues have many players who have etched their names into the top-flight history books.

Now though, one former Premier League star has been tasked with building his ideal XI filled with some of the best players English football has seen, with one current City star getting a mention.

In a recent video shared on the Daily Mail Sport TikTok channel, as the former Arsenal star was picking a back four for his ultimate Premier League XI, Fabregas chose Kyle Walker at right-back.

Also included in his defence were Ashley Cole at left-back, with John Terry and Rio Ferdinand as the two centre-backs.

After making 229 appearances for Tottenham Hotspur, the full-back joined City during the 2017 summer transfer window in a deal worth £50m.

Since then, the Englishman, who is currently getting £175k-a-week at the Etihad Stadium, has gone on to make 294 appearances for Pep Guardiola’s side across all competitions.

Across those games, Walker has scored six goals, delivered 21 assists and won numerous trophies along the way including five Premier League titles.

Is Kyle Walker the Premier League’s best ever right-back?

This isn’t the first time the 33-year-old has been recognised for his efforts during his time in the Premier League, as Micah Richards said back in September that he feels Walker is the best ever English right-back, putting him above Gary Neville.

Having been in the top-flight for such a long time and been so successful with City, it’s easy to see why Fabregas has included Walker in his ultimate Premier League XI among some other top defenders this country has seen.
