Indeed, three months after Jurgen Klopp announced his plans to leave Anfield, the Reds finally seem to have found their man.

According to Michael Bridges, speaking on Sky Sports News, the Reds have now opened negotiations with Feyenoord over Slot, and it’s said that this could move quickly.

After months of speculation, it looks as though the Liverpool manager saga could be coming towards an end.
Arne Slot has come from left-field over the past few days to become the leading candidate for this job, and, by the sounds of it, we could get some more significant news on this front very soon.
As Bridges says, the 45-year-old is keen on the job, and if Liverpool are negotiating with Feyenoord about compensation, it has to be assumed that we’re close to a deal being done in terms of a personal agreement.
The Jurgen Klopp era is coming to an end, and it looks as though we may be moving into the Arne Slot era at Anfield.
