Travis and Jason Kelce fans have same complaint with new podcast episode - 'Poor Jason'

Fans of Travis and Jason Kelce are weighing in on the latest episode of the podcast New Heights, offering the same complaint.

The world of American football has a pair of kings in brothers Travis and Jason Kelce, Travis a celebrated tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs and Jason a former center for the Philadelphia Eagles. Fans would be happy to hear them talk about anything, and for the most part, they can, all thanks to their immensely successful podcast New Heights. Whether interested in sports, Travis’ partner Taylor Swift, or just generally great conversation, their listenership has skyrocketed recently, but more attention has perhaps equaled more criticism in the case of the latest episode.

New Heights fans have a complaint over new podcast episode and it’s about Jason Kelce

The latest episode of New Heights saw the brothers welcome Andrew Santino as their guest, an American comedian and actor known for movies like the recent Ricky Stanicky or TV shows such as Beef or Dave.

Travis and Andrew recorded in the studio together, whereas Jason joined in from a room setup elsewhere.

While still present for the conversation, fans reacted during the livestream arguing that not only was Jason far too in the background for this one, but he was also experiencing connection issues.

“We need more Jason here!!” one fan chimed in during the Livestream. “I feel the same, need more Jason,” another echoed.

“I think Jason is having connection issues,” one speculated, with another elaborating their frustrations that “Jason is just a beat behind the guys, sound-wise.”

“Poor Jason lol,” one reacted, another offering a round-up at the end: ”MY opinion is not enough Jason in this episode. Travis is great… just want more Jason.”

‘It is nice for Travis to take the lead’

It was a common complaint on the stream. “Need a lot more Jason,” a fan put it bluntly.

However, there were some to leap in and defend that the episode marked an opportunity for Travis to be truly foregrounded. “There are lots of Jason-led interviews,” one reacted, “so it is nice for Travis to take the lead.”

The comments on the episode now it’s on YouTube are largely positive.

All that said, in real time the complaint persisted. “Jason hasn’t gotten to chill with Santino as much as Travis,” somebody claimed.

Next episode, let’s hope the Jason fans get their fill!
