Reba McEntire Returning to Host 2024 ACM Awards + Debut New Music

Reba McEntire will return to host the ACM Awards in 2024.

The Academy of Country Music revealed the news in a press release Thursday (April 25). McEntire is set to host the awards show for the 17th time in her career, marking the largest number of times any artist has served as host.

The country superstar is set to mark the occasion by hitting the stage to perform new music during the ACM Awards ceremony.

McEntire turned to social media to share the news on Thursday, writing that she “can’t wait” to host the show again.

Luke Combs, Megan Moroney and Morgan Wallen lead the most-nominated artists in the 2024 ACM Awards.

Combs has garnered a total of eight nominations, including Entertainer of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (both artist and producer), Single of the Year (both artist and producer), Song of the Year and Music Event of the Year.

Moroney received six nominations in 2024, encompassing Female Artist of the Year, New Female Artist of the Year, Song of the Year (as both artist and songwriter), Music Event of the Year and Visual Media of the Year.

Wallen has also secured six nominations for the ACM Awards in 2024, which include Entertainer of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Single of the Year, Music Event of the Year, and Artist-Songwriter of the Year.

The 2024 ACM Awards will take place at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, and stream live on Prime Video on Thursday, May 16, at 8PM ET/ 7PM CT/ 5PM PT. More details are to be announced. For more information, visit the ACM’s website.
