‘Really good’: Crysencio Summerville says Leeds have a 17-year-old coming through who looks brilliant

Leeds United’s academy is fantastic at producing young stars.

The Whites have produced some brilliant players in recent memory from Kalvin Phillips to Fabian Delph, and, at the moment, there are more exciting players coming through.

Archie Gray looks like a star in the making, while Mateo Joseph looks like a real prospect too.

Speaking to Football Manager on TikTok, Crysencio Summerville has been discussing some of the other stars in Leeds’ academy at the moment, and he’s highlighted a 17-year-old who could be a real talent.

Leeds have another talented player coming through

Summerville says that Charlie Crew looks like a top prospect, imploring fans to keep an eye on his development.

“We have trained with Charlie Crew, and I think he is a really good midfielder. Keep a look out for him because he’s a really good player,” Summerville said.

The future is bright at Leeds

Whether or not Leeds are promoted to the Premier League this season remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure, the future looks bright for the Elland Road outfit.

Indeed, it’s not just Charlie Crew who is coming through at the moment.

Archie Gray and Mateo Joseph look like they could be first-teamers for a long time to come, while Summerville himself is only a youngster.

In fact, the likes of Wilfried Gnonto, Georginio Rutter and even Ethan Ampadu are still only young players, and if this group can grow together, then Leeds could be on the verge of something of a golden generation.

Leeds fans love to see young players come through and shine, and, at the moment, there’s a real crop of talented youngsters who could carry this team for years to come.

Let’s hope that Leeds can keep this group together and they can all fulfil their potential together in west Yorkshire.
