Everyone is counting down the days until Starbucks releases the new boba drinks, and a barista has shared a review which will get you even more excited.
The bubble-tea drinks still haven’t been unveiled by the coffee chain yet, but they’re speculated to be arriving on May 7 as part of the summer menu.

Three fruity drinks with tapioca pearls inside are coming: Summer-Berry Refresher, Summer-Berry Lemonade Refresher and Summer Skies Drink Refresher.
A barista in Phoenix has shared a video of herself trying the Summer-Berry Refresher, a raspberry, blueberry and blackberry drink with raspberry boba balls that’s bright blue and red in color.
She gave it a brilliant review, rating the drink “10/10,” and even said it’s her new “fave refresher” on the menu.
The Starbucks barista then filmed herself making the fruity drink, mixing a blue base with ice before adding a spoonful of tapioca pearls.
“This is the best refresher yet,” she repeated again. “Reminds me of blue Powerade.”
In another clip, the employee then videoed herself making the Summer Skies Refresher, which is the same but combined with coconut milk.
“It’s so yummy 10/10,” she wrote, describing the taste as similar to cotton candy flavor GO-GURT yogurts.
New summer food options
To go alongside the fruity bubble tea drinks, two food items are supposedly launching at the same time.
One is an Orange Cream Cake Pop, an orange cream cake mixed with buttercream, dipped in chocolaty icing and finished with an orange slice design.
Or, there’s a Pineapple Cloud Cake, an airy cake layered with a lightweight pineapple cream and pineapple spread with whole fruit pieces all topped with a sweet drizzle.
The White Chocolate Macadamia Cream Cold Brew is due to be returning too, if you prefer a drink with a caffeine kick.
