Dayton transfer Koby Brea, nation’s top 3-point shooter, sets visits to Duke, UConn

Koby Brea has set up a pair of visits to two of the best programs in college basketball over the next few days.

Per On3’s Joe Tipton, Brea, who is transferring from Dayton, will be at UConn from today through Sunday. He will then go to Duke next week and be in Durham from Tuesday through Thursday.

Brea has spent the past four seasons with the Flyers with this year being a junior one for him. He has been a reserve for most of his career in 113 collegiate appearances.

While at Dayton, Brea averaged 7.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists. He did so while shooting 44.2% from the field and 43.4% from three.

In ’23-’24, he had a career year with averages of 11.1 points and 3.8 rebounds while shooting 51.2% from the field and 49.8% from three on three makes from distance a game. That made him one of the nation’s leaders in three-point makes while he led the country in percentage.
