Sunday evening’s baseball game between Oklahoma and Texas has entered a weather delay after lighting was spotted within eight miles of L. Dale Mitchell Park in Norman. The Longhorns led 12-10 at the time in the top of the eighth inning.

The matchup was the back end of a doubleheader after Texas won the first game of the day 8-6. OU claimed the opening game on Friday evening so the winner is set to take the series.

Per NCAA rules, the game will be delayed at least 30 minutes. It cannot resume until it has been 20 minutes since the last time that lightning was detected within eight miles of the stadium.
