As many of KoKo’ fans will know, she hasn’t had the easiest time in life when it comes to romance. Even after having to “let go” of one of her exes, James Harden, he still doesn’t have a bad word to say about her.
Khloe Kardashian often has fellow celebrities commenting on how much of a sweet soul she is. Todd Chrisley even said the Kardashians star was his “spirit animal” at one time. Nowadays, Khloe is focusing on being a mom of two and she’s co-parenting with ex Tristan Thompson. But, she had a whole relationship with another NBA player before him that fans may know less about.
Khloe Kardashian dated James Harden
These days, most people link Khloe and Tristan together as if he’s the only other partner she’s had.
But, before dating the basketball star and welcoming two children with him, she also dated another NBA player, James Harden.
Khloe and James got together in 2015, when she was finalizing her divorce from Lamar Odom. The two met at Kanye West’s basketball-themed birthday party.
The Kardashians star had already been through a lot in her relationship with Lamar. And her romance with James was sadly short-lived.
Mom of two Khloe is no stranger to having to make tough decisions and back in 2016 she and James called it quits after eight months together.
According to Essentially Sports, she and James’ romance reportedly started off casually and it was him who wanted to get serious.
However, she had to “let him go go,” she revealed on Kocktails with Khloe, reports ET.
Speaking to her guest Lisa Rinna, Khloe said she “didn’t want to be with someone who wasn’t monogamous.”
She added: “I was like great, this guy’s in it for the long haul, let’s do it. Found out he wasn’t, and I’ve got the receipts to prove it.”
‘She’s a great person’
At one time, James told Sports Illustrated it was the “worst year of his life” when they broke up and added how the media attention on the relationship took its toll.
However, a more recent exclusive interview with Us Weekly, published in March last year, sees James singing Khloe’s praises.
The basketball pro said: “She’s one of those people where no matter if you’re dating or not, you want to see them succeed…”
He added how he’s “…just happy she’s in a good place” these days.
