7 Little Johnstons fans fear for Anna

As TLC star Anna appears in another season of 7 Little Johnstons, fan comments about the dynamic with her family are mounting.

Many viewers of the show take to Reddit threads to suggest Anna gets “different treatment” than that of her siblings.

One fan commented: “It really annoys me that they downplay Anna’s intelligence…”

More said they think the way Anna’s siblings speak to her is “…quite condescending.”

Some suggest her “…family is jealous of her.” And, others say they think Anna is “treated unfairly.”

Another commented on the thread: “I’ve always felt bad for Anna …”

Anna is thriving

It’s safe to say, despite fan speculation about her relationship with her family, Anna appears to be thriving.

She became a homeowner in season 14 and her father, Trent Johnston, said he was “proud” of her.

Some fans write on Reddit how they “love that Anna has gone her own way.” But, her parents appear to be supportive of her achievements.

Qualified family therapist Sophie Cress told Reality Tidbit: “This can result in feelings of seclusion and animosity that, if left unaddressed, can have a long-lasting impact on family relationships.”

But, above everything else, Sophie adds: “However, it’s crucial to remember that a television show is a curated representation of reality, and editing can influence viewers’ perceptions.

The family might have complex dynamics that aren’t fully explored on-screen. Other family members could be facing their own challenges, which might not be as evident to the audience.”
