Benny Blanco is cooking it up in the kitchen for Selena Gomez, as he wanted to “put a smile on her face”, plus something else…
The celebrity couple went public in December, after secretly dating for months. As well as music, it looks like Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco also have cooking in common. The former Disney Channel alum has her show, Selena + Chef, while the music producer has recently released his cookbook, Open Wide.
Benny Blanco cooks steak for Selena Gomez – and documents it all
A man of many talents, Benny is often showing off his cooking skills on his TikTok, and his most recent masterpiece is a juicy steak for his girlfriend, Selena Gomez.
“I woke up early this morning, and I was like, I want to do something nice for my girlfriend,” he started the video. “Whenever I want to put a smile on her face or get laid, I just make her steak.”
The 36-year-old then revealed Gomez was working today, so as a surprise he was going to “sneak in” and deliver the slap-up meal.
After showing all the stages of the steak, along with his cookbook, the star found out she was actually at home and made his way over.
As she was sleeping, the producer left a cute note on some kitchen towel, which read: “I love you! Sleep Well! I made you steak!” Although the singer couldn’t be shown in the video, at the end a short clip of the two holding hands was inserted.
The 31-year-old later posted the note to her Instagram story alongside a white heart emoji. It’s not the first time Blanco has left a cute handwritten note. He recently sent his girlfriend one while they were apart, enjoying their first virtual date night.
“Aww you seem like the best boyfriend ever! Selena’s lucky to have you,” gushed one fan.
Another wrote: “Benny has ultimate rizz! Selena we get it girl- no explanation needed. This needs to be a cooking series.”

The music producer opens up about his relationship
Blanco recently opened up about the start of his relationship with Gomez, although it’s not what you’d expect. He actually said he was ‘the last one to find out’ about his feelings. Odd!
“I was the last one to know,” the Eastside star told The Wall Street Journal. “It’s crazy how your partner could just be sitting there the whole time, right in front of your eyes, and you don’t even notice, and then you have that Clueless moment where you’re like, ‘Wait, I’m in love.’”
The pair go way back, first working together in 2019, on the singe I Can’t Get Enough. They linked up once again for her 2023 hit, Single Soon, and it seemed they haven’t looked back since.
