Another veteran scorer has just hit the transfer portal from men’s college basketball. On Tuesday, Iona wing Idan Tretout entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal.
Tretout did not start his collegiate career with the Gaels. Herald started his college basketball career in the Ivy League at Harvard. After three seasons at Harvard, the senior combo guard opted to jump into the transfer portal for the first time in his career, landing at Iona. In his long season at Iona, Tretout would play in 28 games and earn 24 stars for the Gales. He finished the 2023-24 season averaging 14.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.5 steals per game.
