German police seize items from PSG fans but none refused entry

German police seized pyrotechnics, masks and reinforced motorbike gloves from Paris Saint-Germain supporters heading to the Champions League semi-final first leg at Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday.

No one was refused entry by car, a police spokesperson said.

Up to 150 officers checked vehicles crossing the Belgian and Dutch borders near Aachen.

According to the police, the main focus was on the French ultra fan scene, which is known to be violent.
