Meghan Markle sending Kris Jenner gifts is a 'bad look' after Kate Middleton drama

Meghan Markle’s new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard is gearing up for its launch. To get the hype going, the Duchess is sending out 50 exclusive pots of her strawberry jam to celebrities and influencers. One of these went to reality TV legend, Kris Jenner. However, one royal expert says this is a ‘bad look’ during Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis. Especially, after Kim Kardashian took part in the ‘Where’s Kate’ drama.

Kate Middleton announced her cancer diagnosis at the end of March. In the weeks and days leading up, the internet went wild, with endless conspiracy theories and memes on her whereabouts, as she hadn’t been seen since her planned abdominal surgery at the start of the year. Kris Jenner’s daughter, Kim Kardashian was one of the celebrities to take part in the ‘online joke’ as she captioned one of her Instagram pics, “On my way to find Kate.” Now, one royal expert has ‘slammed’ Meghan Markle’s decision to send a pot of jam to the family.

Meghan Markle ‘should not be aligning herself with the Kardashians,’ says expert

Kris Jenner is one of the latest celebrities to receive a pot of jam from American Riviera Orchard. Each individual jam is labeled with a number, with Jenner’s being 13/50.

The mom of six posted an aesthetic picture of the product to her Instagram story, which she captioned: “Thank you @americanrivieraorchard”.

However, the Duchess is now being ‘slammed’ by royal experts for sending one to Kim Kardashian’s mother. “Friendly reminder, Jenner’s daughter, Kim Kardashian was recently criticized for making fun of the ‘Where’s Kate’ drama,” Kinsey Schofield told GB News.

“Which again, bullying the Princess of Wales, Meghan should probably not be aligning herself with them but here we are,” she concluded.

After Kate announced her diagnosis, fans were pressuring Kardashian to apologize for the caption, although the mom of four did not publically say anything, and the photo, with the caption, remains on her page.

Blake Lively was another celebrity who took part in the ‘drama’ online, however, later issued an apology. “I’m sure no one cares today, but I feel like I have to acknowledge this,” Lively said in a message shared on her Instagram account after Kate’s announcement.

“I made a silly post around the ‘Photoshop fails’ frenzy, and oh man, that post has me mortified today. I’m sorry. Sending love and well wishes to all, always.”

Kris Jenner ‘wants the Sussexes on the show’

Although royal experts say Meghan ‘shouldn’t be aligning herself’ with the famous family, last October, it was reported Kris wanted them to cameo in the hit show, and the couple reportedly ‘saw no harm’ in doing so.

“It’s no coincidence that the Kardashians all move in the same circles as Meghan’s new circle. It’s just a slam dunk for the two families to team up, but Kris doesn’t want to push too aggressively, too soon,” the insider told Bella Magazine at the time.

The insider also claimed that KJ had been “assured” by Meg and Harry’s team that there is “no issue in principle” with them appearing on the show.

With a new season of The Kardashians approaching, there’s no word on the cameo yet, but who knows what could happen in the future…
