Taylor Swift gave Emily Blunt’s daughter the cutest compliment, as she called it ‘the best thing anyone’s done’.
Emily Blunt, like everyone, admitted to being a fan of Taylor Swift and shared the cutest story of when the two celebrities met, involving Blunt and John Krasinski’s nine-year-old daughter. If anyone is going to give you a pick me up, who better than the Shake it Off singer herself?
Taylor Swift ‘almost made Emily Blunt’s daughter faint’
With Taylor mania at an all-time high with the recent release of her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, it’s no surprise she comes up in just about every interview.
During an appearance on Sirius XM’s The Howard Stern Show The Oppenheimer star recalled a the time she met the music star. “She’s the nicest, she was so nice to my kids,” Blunt gushed.
My oldest kid has just cut all of her hair off, this very short haircut that she was very self-conscious about. And Taylor Swift goes, ‘God, look at you, you’re just this ‘60s Beatnik cool kid. I love your style,'” the Hollywood star revealed.
“I thought my child was going to faint,” the 41-year-old chuckled. “It was the best thing anyone’s done for my child.”
Stern then joked that the movie star’s children could get a ‘very big head’ after meeting and receiving compliments from Swift.
However, the star reassured the host that her children were level as the celeb life is “normalized” to them. With parents like theirs, it makes sense!
Blunt may have ‘inspired’ one of Taylor’s tour songs
Never missing a chance to show off her Swiftie skills, Blunt and Ryan Gosling performed their own version of “All Too Well” when the Barbie star hosted SNL.
The pair are set to star in the upcoming movie, The Fall Guy, where Gosling’s character cries to Swift’s song. The two then performed their own hilarious version of the song, and everyone was loving it, including Taylor.
It looks like Swift is an avid watcher of the show, as she took to Instagram to repost the clip. “All Too Well (Ryan and Emily’s Version) !!! “Watch me accidentally catch myself singing this version on tour. This monologue is EVERYTHING.”
