Three words hint we won't get our Kate Middleton back for a while, says expert

Three words strongly suggest that the public won’t be seeing Kate Middleton for a while, following an update from an expert.

Devastation and teary eyes followed in the wake of a video message from Kate Middleton earlier this March. The 42-year-old Princess of Wales made the heartbreaking announcement that she has been diagnosed with cancer. Calling the diagnosis a “huge shock”, she expressed that she and the family had kept a lid on things before sharing the bombshell news with the public. “It has taken time for me to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment,” she explained. The royal hasn’t been sighted out since last December, and that’s very unlikely to change anytime soon…

Kate Middleton ‘expected to be away’ for longer than you may think after palace update

Adoring fans of Kate’s the world over have been eagerly anticipating her return to the public eye. More than that, they’ve been impatiently holding out hope for news of her good health.

However, The Times’ assistant editor Kate Mansey has offered an enlightening report to help measure expectations.

“Kate is expected to be away from public duties for some time,” she clarified, and the response from the public is destined to place emphasis on “for some time”. It may not be a set number of months listed, but the three words have always been used to suggest a long period left in waiting.

From the Palace garden parties scheduled to be hosted in both London and Edinburgh to the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings, it’s not expected that Kate will be present during any celebrations or commemorations between now and the end of summer.

As you may know, summer has typically been a particularly busy time for the Royal, but under the circumstances, her health is of the utmost importance.

Prince William has assured the public his family is ‘doing well’

Kate’s husband William, Prince of Wales, was present for a string of royal engagements earlier this week, and during one he was able to reassure the public without going into too much detail that his family is coping.

“Do you mind if I ask how your wife and children are?” one asked him.

“All doing well, thank you,” he responded, quick to the point, as shared by the Daily Mail in a brief clip. “Yes, we’re doing well,” he reinforced.

It has yet to be specified which type of cancer Kate was diagnosed with, although it’s been confirmed that it’s not prostate cancer, which is very rare in women.

The public was told that she was going to undertake preventative chemotherapy, and hopefully another update—one of triumph—will reach our ears and hearts soon.
