'A special talent': Cesc Fabregas reacts to 'tremendous' Man Utd loanee performance, has interesting message for Ten Hag

Cesc Fabregas has now had his say on Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho’s resurgence at Borussia Dortmund.

Manchester United fans were left awestruck on Wednesday night as loanee Jadon Sancho broke a record for English players in the Champions League as he completed 13 dribbles.

Having arrived a shell of himself in January, Sancho has slowly been finding his feet on the football pitch again.

This will delight fans and the club, given he’s definitely raised his transfer value since January and also if Erik ten Hag leaves, Sancho may fancy his chances under a new manager.

Sancho was lauded by German media and Alessandro Del Piero who made a ‘destiny’ claim over the English winger. But now Cesc Fabregas has had his say.

Cesc Fabregas reacts to Jadon Sancho’s performance vs PSG

This week, legendary Spanish midfielder Fabregas was talking on his podcast Planet Premier League for the BBC.

In this, he was quizzed on his thoughts on Sancho given the loanee’s recent impressive performances.

“I can clearly see why everyone is talking about it because you see Jadon playing yesterday basically and it’s like ‘wow’.

“This kid’s special and it’s true that sometimes while watching him play for Man United you struggled to see what he can bring to the table.

“But all I see is he is a special talent he’s a boy with tremendous quality.”

After watching Sancho complete 13 dribbles against PSG, you’d be hard-pressed to find a manager who didn’t feel he was a special talent.

Fabregas sends a message to Manchester United and Erik ten Hag

In the same podcast, Fabregas then turned his attention to Sancho’s character, implying in the process that Ten Hag had failed a ‘challenge’ in managing the mercurial talent.

“I don’t know his character so it’s difficult for me to judge cause you can hear things that he doesn’t behave properly sometimes but others say he’s a great professional.

“These kinds of players they’re a challenge as a coach, you have to manage them in the best way and make them believe they are important for the team.”

The last section of this reads as though he’s calling out Ten Hag, given the Dutchman failed to make Sancho feel important, with his favouritism toward Antony being the main problem in their relationship breaking down.
