‘Close with him’: Jack Grealish says he really loves ‘unbelievable’ Man City teammate

Jack Grealish has said that he absolutely loves one of his Manchester City teammates.

The Englishman is approaching the end of his third season with the Citizens since arriving from Aston Villa in a £100m deal during the 2021 summer transfer window.

Since then, the winger has made 124 appearances for the Blues prior to today’s Premier League home match against Wolves.

During his time with City, Grealish has played alongside 38 different players in total.

Despite being in a crucial stage of the season, the 28-year-old has taken the time to share his thoughts on one particular teammate and talk about the strong relationship they have on and off the pitch.

Speaking in a recent video shared on the Sky Sports Premier League YouTube channel, Grealish had this to say when asked about Erling Haaland.

He said: “I am close with him. He is a really good guy, he is so professional, he is an unbelievable player.

“I think that’s why he has been so successful, and yeah, ever since he has come to us, we have got on like a house on fire, we have got on really well, so, yeah, he’s a great guy.”

Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland have a proper bromance

Haaland arrived at City from Borussia Dortmund in a deal worth £51m a year after Grealish made his move to the Etihad Stadium.

Since then, the duo have featured in 60 games together and won five major titles with six joint goal participations.

After the Citizens won the Premier League title last season, the striker interrupted a TV interview Grealish was in the middle of to share how much he loves his teammate.

This shows the admiration that both players have for each other, which, in our view, is a good thing for City to have in the dressing room.
