Travis Kelce is flying solo at the Kentucky Derby, as Taylor Swift gets ready for the European Leg of her Eras Tour.
The NFL star was looking dapper at the races, and it looks like he has as much look in betting as he does in his love life, as the 34-year-old won his first bet. The appearance comes days before Taylor Swift is set to head to Europe to embark on her Eras Tour, with the first stop being Paris. It’s been reported Travis Kelce will join her on many of the stops, and they’re even set for a ‘family vacay’ with their parents and siblings.
Travis Kelce ‘wins first bet’ at Kentucky Derby
Travis once again pulled out all the stops with his fashion, as he attended Churchill Downs for the big race on Saturday.
The Kansas City Chiefs star looked dapper for the event, as he wore a white suit and patterned tie, along with a blue top hat.
It looked like it was Kelce’s lucky day, as he ‘cashed in’ on his first bet. The wholesome moment was caught on camera, and posted to the Kentucky Derby Instagram account.
In the clip, the star could be seen jumping for joy, clapping and cheering as he cashed in, as the text across the video read: “When you show up to the Kentucky Derby and your first bet hits.”
“@killatrav off to a hot start at the Kentucky Derby,” the caption on the post said. “Winning at life tbh,” replied the Chiefs’ official Instagram account. It comes just months after the team took home the all-important Super Bowl title.
“Can’t wait for him to buy a horse and name it ‘Neigh Heights,'” joked one fan.
Another wrote: “This man can’t lose and the hair just makes him hotter.”
“Travis Kelce can’t help but win,” penned a third. They’re not wrong there!
It is unclear whether the couple will attend the Met Gala
Before the European leg of Swift’s tour is the prestigious Met Gala, which will be taking place on Monday night.
The Bad Blood singer last attended the event in 2016, and many were hopeful the celebrity couple would be making their red carpet-debut at the event.
There’s been mixed reports on whether Swift would attend this year. Last week, PageSix seemingly confirmed she’d be in attendance, although they said whether or not Kelce would join her, was unknown.
Despite this, that same day, PEOPLE claimed she would not be attending, so she can focus on her European Tour dates.
She’s due to kick off in Paris on Thursday, May 9, so she could make it, but we guess we’ll have to see on the night!
