Reality star's 'biggest regret' after 10 years on hit TV show - 'it was awkward'

After over a decade on Vanderpump Rules, Tom Schwartz may not be at the center of all the drama these days – after all, who can compete with Scandoval? – but he’s still bringing entertainment to the Bravo show. This Spring he shares his “biggest regret” which left him feeling “awkward.”

Tom Schwartz is known for being Tom Sandoval‘s bestie, as well as one-half of the restaurant featured on Vanderpump Rules, Schwartz and Sandy’s. He’s been through a lot in the past decade on reality TV. Tom married and divorced Katie Maloney, and admits to kissing more of his female co-stars.

Tom Schwartz’s ‘biggest regret of Vanderpump Rules’

In a fun interview with Cosmopolitan, Tom took part in a game some of his co-stars such as James Kennedy and Lala Kent wouldn’t be fond of.

The 41-year-old had the pleasure of necking shots as he answered all kinds of questions including whether he “fabricated” storylines on the show.

During Cheap Shots with Cosmo, he admitted he may have “stretched the truth” on Pump Rules. He also revealed his “biggest regret” was kissing Raquel Leviss.

Tom said the kiss with Raquel “was real,” before adding:

“I’ve got to say, it was probably one of my biggest regrets in the history of the show. It just felt awkward. We had no chemistry. there was lots of alcohol involved. I don’t know, it kind of felt right in the moment but immediately afterward, no. It just felt forced. Those are my least favorite kisses, no disrespect to Rachel.”

Tom admits to more kissing

After reflecting on his “awkward” poolside kiss with Rachel, Tom admitted he also once kissed Scheana Shay.

He kissed Scheana in Las Vegas when he was still in a relationship with his then-wife, Katie.

Tom called himself a “schmuck,” and added how he remembers “being upset with Katie.”

He said: “I was a sloppy fool back then, but I don’t remember it, man. I’m just going to take a shot. Moving on.”

Tom was asked to list three things he could’ve done better in his relationship with Katie. The reality star said he could’ve been more “faithful,” and “listened more,” before adding how he feels he’s a “peacekeeper by nature,” and “wants everyone to get along.”

He also “wishes” he stuck up for himself more during Scandoval, adding how he “cowered,” “turned into a hermit” and “let the internet win.”

However, Tom believes the cast is in a good place now: “Vanderpump Rules feels fun again.”
