TV star confirms fans' fears over his grandkids - 'It's true, I don't get to see them all'

Little People, Big World’s Roloff family members have been bashed by fans who are often quick to critique their dynamic. Over the past decade and a half, many things have changed in Matt, Amy, Zach, and Tori Roloff’s lives. In a new social media post, Matt answers fans’ most-asked questions, including those about his grandkids.

TLC viewers have sadly seen a rift play out on Little People Big World. Upon the sale of Roloff Farms, Matt Roloff and his son, Zach Roloff, seemingly fell out. Matt eventually took the farm off the market and now offers out some of his land as a tourist spot. He explains how one of his sons is also now living in his old house on the farm.

Does Matt Roloff see his grandkids?

Zach and Tori Roloff have been critiqued by some Little People Big World viewers for not burying the hatchet with Matt and encouraging their kids to see their grandparents more.

Other fans who take to X (Twitter) are on Zach Roloff‘s side and suggest Matt should make more of an effort to go to Battle Ground, Washington to see his family.

However, Matt takes to Facebook this April to share his “truth.”

The TLC star writes: “Yes it’s true… I don’t get to see Zach and his adorable kids nearly as often as any of us would like…”

Matt adds: “We are always welcome to go see them in Battle Ground but we don’t see them around the farm very often– I’m very proud of them and the way they raise their family and Zach battling thru illness and building out his own farm is what makes a father so proud to see.”

Matt sees more of the rest of his family

Revealing his relationships with all of his kids, Matt explains to his fans how it’s more of a geographical issue to stay in contact with his family.

He explains in his post: “I see Jeremy, Audrey and their 3 (soon to be 4) kids often as they live just a mile or 2 from the farm… It’s super fun to see his kids pull up to my front door in their little battery-powered jeeps asking for a juice box treat from grandpas pantry.”

The TLC star says of his daughter: “Molly loves her private life up in Spokane but we still see her often… Sometimes Caryn and I fly up to northern WA for a weekend visit and often her and Joel come stay either at the big house or at my new house.”

He also reveals his son, Jacob, daughter-in-law, Isobel, and their son, Mateo, live on the farm nowadays.

Matt writes: “It’s hard for me to not talk the most about Jacob. While you all see Zach and his family the most on TV…. I see and talk to Jacob, Izzy and Mateo the most.”
