Celebrity couple face 'hopeless' future over as husband is refused entry to the States

Jon and Rachel on 90 Day Fiancé have shared an update on their long-distance relationship. Unfortunately, Jon feels their future with his partner and daughters is now “hopeless”.

After 90 Day Fiancé star Jon was refused entry to America because of his past, he took to social media to reveal he “doesn’t know what their next chapter will look like” following the devastating news.

Jon and Rachel’s update

90 Day Fiancé’s Jon Walters has revealed he will not be joining long-distance wife Rachel Walters and the girls in the USA, adding that “the future they wanted for so long isn’t the future they will have.”

The visa application was denied was because of Jon’s past criminal conviction, including an assault charge. As of August 2022, they were still waiting for an answer, but haven’t got the one they wanted.

Rachel is living in the U.S. instead of with Jon in England, but he has now confirmed their split. The two have deleted their shared Instagram page after he shared long-distance relationships are “temporary”.

Jon was refused entry to move to the US with Rachel and their daughters, due to his past. He had got involved in 50 to 60 fights when he was young but was convicted when he was in college where he injured someone.

Rachel coming to the UK was also not an option, since she shares custody of her eldest daughter Ella with her ex. Jon and Rachel saw hope when he was granted a visa interview in 2021, but the visa was denied.

Jon and Rachel’s journey on 90 Day Fiancé

Jon, from England, and single mom Rachel from Albuquerque, New Mexico, had met on the karaoke app Smule. They were in a relationship when Rachel found out she was pregnant with her ex-boyfriend’s child.

Rachel took a trip to the UK to meet Jon in person with her infant daughter. It wasn’t long before they began a long-distance relationship together five years ago and launched to fame on the TLC show.

Jon and Rachel have been fighting for his entry into the United States as far back as five years ago. In April 2019, six months after their wedding in the U.K, they still had to have a long-distance marriage.

With only half of the money they need for the visa saved up, Rachel and Jon struggled to make some decisions about their future. The couple also applied for a since-refused waiver for Jon’s spousal visa.
