Starbucks’ Summer menu is officially out and several items are up for grabs, including two fruity cakes.
The coffee chain treats its customers to a range of drinks, sugary treats, and select menu items to beat the heat, and welcomes Summer in style with an exciting collection of merch.
Starbucks’ Summer menu comes with Orange and Pineapple-flavored cakes
The fruit-flavored items are undeniably the highlight of Starbucks‘ 2024 Summer menu. Orange Cream Cake Pop and Pineapple Cloud Cake are available in stores across the United States starting May 7.
According to the company’s press release, the Orange Cream Cake Pop is made of orange cream cake with buttercream dipped in white chocolate icing, designed to look like a slice of the actual fruit.
The Pineapple Cloud Cake is an “airy cake” filled with pineapple cream, topped with whole fruit pieces with a sweet drizzle on the top. The items will be available for a limited time until the supply lasts.
The Summer menu includes a variety of drinks:
- Summer-Berry Starbucks Refreshers – featuring a blend of raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry flavors blended with ice and a layer of “newpopping raspberry flavored pearls” at the bottom.
- Summer-Berry Lemonade Starbucks Refreshers – This is made of the same combination of different berries as the precious drink but mixed with lemonade and poured over raspberry-flavored pearls.
- Summer Skies Drink – The fruity drink features the Summer-Berry refresher creamy coconut milk served with rice and a layer of Raspberry Flavored Pearls at the bottom.
Fans rate the new menu items
Most of the food items from Starbucks’ Summer menu are met with rave reviews and fans are in love with the fruit-flavored cakes.
From soft texture to chunks of fruits as dressing, everything about the Orange Cream Cake and Pineapple Cloud Cake has appealed to fans.
Tagging Starbucks in a TikTok video featuring the review of the fruit treat, one content creator wrote: ” Pineapple Cloud Cake,” while another added: “Moist and squishy for the win!”
A third user, while recommending the fruity cake, said: “You should definitely try out the Pineapple Cake. It is amazing. There is a layer of pineapple curd on the top, with filling and the cake is super fluffy.”
