Dave Brailsford has just proven what Cristiano Ronaldo shared about Man Utd is true

According to recent reports, Sir Dave Brailsford has just reached the same conclusion as Cristiano Ronaldo over one issue at Manchester United.

Despite what has been a disappointing season, one which many fans cannot wait to finish, the summer is expected to be an exciting one.

With changes galore expected at Manchester United this summer as Ineos kick start the new era at Old Trafford, it’ll be a busy one.

A new manager, multiple sales and arrivals are all expected to take place this summer but beyond this.

There are more wholesale changes in order such as a new stadium and now a new training ground could also be on the cards.

Sir Dave Brailsford has concluded that Carrington isn’t up to scratch

Ever since Ineos’ part-takeover of United was completed, Sir Dave Brailsford has been at every game and regularly at Carrington where he’s been looking into and evaluating every aspect of the club.

Now according to a report by Manchester Evening News, Brailsford has concluded after he evaluated the club’s facilities.

It’s been reported that he’s decided the current facilities simply aren’t at a high enough standard for a world-class sports outfit, with a relocation now being touted.

Carrington has long been a training ground criticised for its facilities with club legend, Cristiano Ronaldo, among the players to speak out about how little investment the Glazer family have put into it.

Ronaldo made this opinion clear in his interview with Piers Morgan, as he explained that the facilities hadn’t changed in the 12 years he was away from the club.

“Nothing changed, surprisingly. Not only the pool, the jacuzzi, even the gym. Even the kitchen, the chefs, whom I appreciate – lovely people. They stopped in time. It surprised me a lot.”

So the latest report should come as no surprise given we’d already been told of how unsuitable Carrington was, but in a positive light, it’s now being noticed by the people who can make a difference.

At long last Manchester United are being run like a football club

It may be pretty self-explanatory at this point, but it’s so refreshing to see that Ineos is making decisions based on sporting merit as opposed to the Glazer family who never cared enough to notice.

In order to return United to the level which fans are accustomed to seeing at the club, first it must be improved off the pitch.

Relocating training facilities and building a new stadium are two signs that Ineos want to reinstall United at the pinnacle of the game in every department not just on the field.

It’s time United started to act like a big club once again, and with Ineos, it seems like this will be the case.
