Sunday, May 12th is Mother’s Day. A time for everybody across the United States to share their appreciation for their mother’s. Plenty of college sporting events are going on across the country in America, including the Mississippi State Bulldogs taking on Arkansas in baseball. In the middle of the game, Bulldogs head coach Chris Lemonis shared a heartwarming message on the special day.

“Yeah, what an awesome day,” Lemonis said. “You know, we talked about it on the bus and made sure everybody called their moms and my wife — we want to make sure I gave her a shout-out. And I told them, I lost my mom a couple of years ago, you better appreciate them. Because for most of these guys, that’s one of the strongest people in their lives if not the strongest.”
