Now, theDaily Mail have claimed that the tactical changes and substitutions made by the Argentine that turned the game around for Chelsea were definitely noticed by those who made the trip to Nottingham.

It is fair to say that the injury crisis has left him with limited choices to impact the game at times this season.

Recent matches such as the draw against Aston Villa and the win against Tottenham saw hardly any first team stars fit, and youngsters such as Josh Acheampong be handed their debuts in the absence of first team players.

Pochettino under pressure for Europa League

It has been previously claimed that the owners are demanding Europa League football as a minimum requirement this season, with the Europa Conference League pretty much already secured.

With just two games left in the season, they will need a little bit of luck if they are to catch either Tottenham or Newcastle United and climb another place or two in the table in the final week of the campaign.
