Report: The two Chelsea youngsters who could now be offered in deal to sign Napoli's victor Osimhen

Chelsea could reportedly offer two of their young players in a deal to sign Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.

The Blues have been heavily linked with Victor Osimhen as they look to bring in a new striker this summer.

Nicolas Jackson is currently the first choice in the position and has not done a bad job given that he is still 22 and only arrived in the Premier League last summer.

In 33 top-flight appearances, Jackson has scored 14 goals.

It is a good return, but with Mauricio Pochettino not having another natural centre-forward in his squad, Chelsea probably do need to buy a new No.9 this summer. Journalist Simon Phillips has claimed that Brentford’s Ivan Toney is another name on Chelsea’s list.

Who could Chelsea offer to Napoli in Victor Osimhen deal?

Last week, it was suggested that Romelu Lukaku could be included in a player-plus-cash offer for Osimhen.

And now the names of two other Chelsea players have been mentioned.

A report from CaughtOffside says Cesare Casadei and David Datro Fofana heading to Napoli while Osimhen moves to Stamford Bridge cannot be ruled out.

Casadei is currently with the Chelsea first team but has failed to make a single start in the Premier League, while Fofana is out on loan at Burnley.

Should Chelsea offer Cesare Casadei and David Datro Fofana to Napoli?

Right now, it is hard to see where Casadei fits in in this Chelsea team.

Even with other midfielders like Enzo Fernandez out injured, the Italian has still not got a look-in.

Going forward, it could be a different story for Fofana, who has had some bright moments in the Premier League this season.

In 15 appearances for Burnley, the 21-year-old has scored four goals. If Chelsea do not go out and sign a centre-forward this summer, there could be room for him.

However, if it takes offering the Ivorian, as well as Casadei, to land a top striker like Osimhen, then it really is something Chelsea should consider.
