Peyton Houston is ready to start capitalizing on his name, image and likeness.
Viewed as one of the top quarterback recruits in the 2027 cycle, he’s already picked up more than 10 scholarship offers. Schools that have offered include Arkansas, Colorado, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Texas Techand Texas A&M, among others.
Now wrapping up his freshman year at Evangel Christian Academy, Houston has the opportunity to profit off his publicity rights because Louisiana allows high school athletes to turn a profit, similar to college athletes. States such as Florida and Texas have prohibited high schoolers from participating in NIL.
To help guide him through NIL at the high school level and beyond, he’s signed with Team IFA for NIL representation. The full-service NFL agency continues to expand its NIL footprint with more than 20 college football clients. Houston marks Team IFA’s first NIL athlete at the high school level.
“I’m incredibly thankful that Peyton along with all other high school athletes in the state of Louisiana have an opportunity to build partnerships with companies and leverage their name, image and likeness,” Houston’s father, Shaun, said. “Forming a partnership with IFA will enable Peyton to utilize his platform for the betterment of his team, his community and other initiatives that are important to him.”
IFA has experience in soliciting endorsement deals for athletes. The agency has also assisted in negotiating several NIL collective deals for clients in the last two transfer portal cycles. Houston was at Oklahoma’s spring game earlier this month. The 6-foot, 185-pound quarterback has taken trips to Texas, Texas A&M, TCU, USC and LSU. He has a 4.0 GPA as he closes out his freshman year of high school.
Among IFA’s NIL clients is running back Dallan Hayden, who transferred from Ohio State to Colorado this spring. The agency also works with Tennessee wide receiver Chris Brazzell and Minnesota linebacker Jaxon Howard.
Team IFA founder and president Blake Baratz represents a number of NFL clients, including Jonathan Allen and Adam Thielen.
