Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and his girlfriend Sarah Jane just honored their daughter in a cool way. The two went to Instagram to share photos of MJ, and one photo included Prescott and Jane showing off matching tattoos that feature an M that turns into a J with a rose on the end of it. Prescott has the tattoo on his right leg, and Jane has hers on her forearm.
“MJ’s world,” Jane said on Instagram, “and we’re just living in it.” Prescott and Jane began dating in 2023, and MJ was born in February of this year. In March, Prescott spoke to reporters about being a new dad.
“I feel different,” Prescott said, per the Cowboys’ official website. “When you wake up in the morning and you see that baby, you understand responsibilities. And everything that I’ve always wanted for myself, but now you want it for someone else even more. Yeah, it’s special. The baby is doing great. Her mom is doing great. Everyone is healthy and at home, and we’re blessed.”
Prescott went on to talk about helping out at home as much as possible. “I’m a homebody much more so [now] over the latter part of the pregnancy.,” he explained. “Just trying to be a helping hand as much as I can — understanding that the baby needs mom so I can only do so much. But I know how important it is for me to be there.
“At the end of the day, it is [still] the offseason and I’ve started back training and working out. The scheduling is a little bit different and the sleep is a little bit different but, other than that, it’s a quiet offseason and I’m thankful for that.”
Dallas Cowboys are still 100 percent behind Dak Prescott
As Prescott enjoys fatherhood, he’s looking to become a Super Bowl champion when the 2024 NFL season is said and done. Earlier this month, Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones talked about how the team still believes that Prescott can lead the Cowboys to a Super Bowl.
“Absolutely. I mean, I totally think that Dak can lead us to a championship,” Jones told Adam Schein on Mad Dog Sports Radio. “He does everything the right way. You know, he’s certainly the leader of this football team. He keeps everybody motivated in the offseason. He’s got everybody working out and doing all the things that it takes to put in the work to give yourself every opportunity to win a championship. It just so happens that you know … we’ve had some tough breaks and tough games in the postseason.”
