Sophie Turner 'having fun' on the dating scene

Sophie Turner is "having fun" dating.

The 28-year-old actress split from Joe Jonas last September after seven years together, of which they were married for four, and she admitted the process of finding a new partner has been exciting because she's never gone through it before.

She told Britain's Vogue magazine: I am having fun dating. It’s very fun. I mean, it’s strange when you get married so young. It’s like you never really learn how to date. So it’s all very new to me."

For her first date with Joe, 34, the former 'Game of Thrones' actress took a number of people along with her because she wasn't convinced she hadn't been "catfished" when the 'Sucker' singer dropped her a message on Instagram to ask her out.

She said: “Joe had just DM-ed me on Instagram. I brought my brother and all my guy friends because I didn’t know if I was getting catfished."

The 'Joan' actress - who has daughters Willa, four, and 10-month-old Delphine with Joe - recalled being unsure whether to go ahead with her pregnancy when she found out when she was expecting for the first time.

Recalling how she found out she was pregnant on a retreat in Bali, she said: "It was my first day there and I was meeting my roommate for the first time. Before we settled down to chat, I told her that I just needed to go and take a pregnancy test. I took the test and was like: ‘I’m pregnant, so nice to meet you!’

“Maybe because I was so young, I sat on it for a week, Thankfully there were therapists there to help me talk things through.

"I told my husband when I got back. I remember throwing the pregnancy test at him, saying ‘What do you think we should do? Do you think we should have it?’ When you’re in your early 20s, life is so frivolous.

"At that point, I really didn’t know if I wanted to be a mother, but something changed in me that day. I just knew I had to have her.”

And after having her first daughter, Sophie felt it was important for her to have a brother or sister.

She explained: “Because my ex and I travel so much, I wanted Willa to have a sibling. I wanted them to have each other.

"They’re so much fun, total girly girls and absolute rays of sunshine in my life.”
