Report: 'Outstanding' player is the most likely to leave Leeds this summer if they're not promoted

Leeds United may have some big calls to make this summer.

One way or another, Leeds’ fate is going to be decided over the next week as they desperately try to win the playoffs and return to the Premier League.

If The Whites go back up, they will need to overhaul their squad so that it’s ready for the top-flight, but if Leeds don’t manage to earn promotion, they may have to sell a few players.

According to The Mail, Leeds may have to sell up to £100m worth of talent if they don’t win the playoffs, and according to this report Crysencio Summerville is the most likely player to be sold if Leeds don’t go up.

Crysencio Summerville most likely Leeds player to be sold

According to The Mail, Summerville is the player Leeds are most likely to sell if they don’t go up.

The Dutch winger is bound to have suitors in the Premier League off the back of what has been an ‘outstanding’ season for the winger.

Summerville has been Leeds’ main man this term, and after seeing the likes of Adam Wharton and Joao Pedro make the step up to the Premier League with ease, Summerville will surely be someone top clubs will look to roll the dice on.

Leeds might struggle next season

Leeds may need to sell £100m worth of talent this summer, and that will leave this squad with bare bones heading into next season.

If that figure is correct, Summerville won’t be the only key player who needs to leave, and if Leeds’ squad is gutted, Daniel Farke will have a huge job on his hands next season if he wants to get Leeds back to the big time.

It may be now or never for Leeds, and every fan in west Yorkshire will be hoping that the Whites can get the job done in the playoffs, starting against Norwich on Thursday.
