Andrew Garfield and his new girlfriend Dr Kate Tomas have been turning heads, with the Spider-Man star and professional witch (yep, you read that right) having been spotted out and about several times.
The Hollywood rumor mill never stops turning, especially when it comes to juicy, high-profile dating gossip. Subject to the latest murmurings is superhero icon Andrew Garfield, who has been spotted several times in public alongside the person who is believed to be his new girlfriend – Dr Kate Tomas. The small piece of information that is making this seemingly innocuous piece of gossip Tik, Tik and Boom into something much bigger on social media, however (sorry), is the news of Tomas’ rather unusual profession…

While most people were willing him to end up with red carpet host and chicken shop flirt Amelia Dimoldenberg, or perhaps his matching outfit bestie Florence Pugh, Garfield appears to be happily coupled up with somebody you may not have heard of.
With several sightings in the wild and a few hand-holding snaps courtesy of the paparazzi, Garfield, who seldom mentions his private life, is all but confirmed to be seeing Tomas – who works in the field of academia (more on that later).
The happy pair have been spotted out with the likes of fellow celebrity couple Phoebe Bridgers and Bo Burnham, with Tomas rumored to have sold her Welsh abode in order to move to London to be closer to be closer to Garfield.
Dr Kate Tomas is a professional witch
While it must be nice for Garfield to be spending time with someone outside the acting world, we doubt he would’ve been able to predict that one day he would be dating someone with such an outside-of-the-box profession.
According to an author bio attributed to Dr Thomas, the Oxford University theology grad is a “spiritual teacher, mentor and advisor”.
That’s not all, however. Crucially, the PHD holder is a “practicing witch” with over 23 years of experience in the field. Her page claims that the 43-year-old is a “ceremonial magician, and ritualist”, who works with “women and non-binary people to teach them ancient and modern spiritual practices in a way that engages their entire being.”
What exactly being a professional witch in 2024 entails, we are not sure. But Tomas certainly appears to have Garfield under her spell, with locals from Tomas’s Welsh village claiming the couple “seem to be very happy and (are) always holding hands when you see them together”.
