Andersen explains how he feels playing under Glasner

Speaking exclusively in an interview with The Standard, Andersen has been discussing the impact Glasner has had at Selhurst Park.

It’s been an improvement everyone has noticed with the players visibly delighted to be playing under him, now Andersen has shared his view.

“I think we started quite well,” the Dane explained, “but then a long period with not-so-good results.

“The last few months have been really nice. Right from the first game with the new gaffer, you could see the change. We’re playing some fantastic football and getting the results.”

Continuing, Andersen opened up on what Glasner is doing so differently to Roy Hodgson right now.

“He was something totally different from what we were used to,” he explained.

“We began training more, ran more, pressed higher. It’s been hard on the body. He doesn’t take any ________. If you don’t work hard, he will tell you. There is no hiding.”

Appointing Oliver Glasner has changed the entire club

Changing manager from Hodgson to Glasner wasn’t just a simple managerial change but rather seems to have changed the entire club.

The mindset around Copers Cope seems to have shifted by a massive amount since Glasner’s arrival and this is now rubbing off on the players.

Things have changed so much, even in terms of Olise and Eberechi Eze who everyone assumed would be guaranteed to depart, now, there is hope they’d be tempted to stay and play under this new project.

While it wasn’t an easy decision for Steve Parish to make, he’s thankful he made the call to replace Hodgson before the season’s end.
