Kit-Kat has just launched a brand new limited-edition flavor, and it’s certainly not one you’d expect.
It arrived on store shelves across the US on Friday (May 17) and is inspired by a sweet soda that everyone knows and loves.
New Kit-Kat flavor
The new flavor is Pink Lemonade, a baby pink Kit-Kat bar that combines chocolate and wafer with pink lemonade flavor, bringing hints of strawberry and vanilla.
It consists of classic, crisp wafers wrapped in a pink lemonade-flavored creme, which Kit-Kat said delivers a “refreshing taste” with “unexpected hints of strawberry”.
“Whether you’re ready to unwind on a sandy beach or chill out in the backyard, the delightful Kit Kat Pink Lemonade Flavored Bars will snap candy lovers of all ages right into a sunshine bliss,” they added.
According to Nestlé, more than 93% of Gen Z and Millenials expressed a preference for pink lemonade treats, which is why they made the new flavor.

Kit-Kat Pink Lemonade review
Food influencer Snackolator tried the new flavor on TikTok after getting his hands on a bar early at the Sweets and Snacks Expo, and had mixed opinions.
He claimed the flavor is nice but it’s not strong enough, and you don’t get the sour or tart element you’d expect from a pink lemonade flavor.
“It almost comes off more like a white chocolate strawberry than a strawberry lemonade but you do get a little bit of it,” he said. “It’s just not that strong.”
However, he still called it a “great summer flavor” nonetheless and rated it an 8/10, just don’t be expecting it to taste exactly like pink lemonade.

Other crazy Kit-Kat flavors
Pink Lemonade is one of many wacky flavors Nestlé has launched in the US, including Chocolate Frosted Donut, Birthday Cake and Churro.
Chocolate Frosted Donut combines crisp wafer with donut-flavoured milk chocolate and creme, mimicking the flavor of a donut.
Birthday cake wafers covers the classic wafers in a white creme, finished with a colorful assortment of pretty sprinkles.
The Churro one launched for National Churro Day and features a buttery churro-flavoured creme with sugar mixed between wafers.
