Mauricio Pochettino remains uncertain on whether his future will continue at Chelsea, despite having met with the club's co-owner Todd Boehly.
The Blues managed to earn a victory over Bournemouth on the final day of the campaign, securing their place in Europe next season. It marked the first time they have been able to achieve five consecutive wins in the Premier League since March 2022, ending their difficult season on a high.
Their success, however, has not been enough to put Pochettino at ease as the Argentine boss remains unsure of his future.
Speaking after Chelsea's win, in which Moises Caicedo scored a sensational strike to put them ahead, Pochettino said: "I don't have any idea about this [his future]. All I can tell you is on Friday night, Todd [Boehly] invited me for a dinner and it was a very nice dinner together.
"But I don't know about the rumours about the review. My staff tomorrow are flying for their holidays. I am going to stay in London for a few more days. My phone is going to be on."
90min understands there will be a formal meeting between Chelsea officials and Pochettino, who will have the chance to give his own feedback on the club's operations as well as receive a review of his own performance.
The boss was asked to expand on his meeting with Boehly, to which he replied: "I am not going to explain. It is only for you to know that I was with him. I'm not going to talk about this. If I invite you along, and you and me have dinner, it's not for bad things. I don't believe that."
Pochettino did make sure to round up the campaign, thanking his players for their continued fight.
"I'm so pleased and so proud about the players," he explained. "You could see at the end of the game, players who played more and less and were injured, the way they came to hug me.
"It was very, very, very nice. We talk about the relationship we have – sometimes we are tough with them and sometimes we need to make our choices – but we feel so proud in the way they were working."
Chelsea are yet to find out whether their success will see them feature in the Europa League or Conference League. They will earn a place in the former unless Manchester United defeat Manchester City in the FA Cup on Saturday.
