Kim Kardashian Faces Online Backlash for ‘Feminist’ Emojis

Kim Kardashian West is facing backlash for releasing “Feminist” emojis.

The reality TV personality released a number of new Kimojis on International Women’s Day and many people were offended. Many took to Twitter to voice their displeasure, they claim she’s attempting to capitalize off this day that’s meant to celebrate social, economical, political and cultural achievements of women.

 

 

In the past the Kardashian has said that she doesn’t idenfiy as a feminist, but she told Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, “I said once before that I’m not really a feminist, but I feel I do a lot more than people that clain that they’re feminist. I feel in my soul I’m a feminist. I just don’t need label to make me feel or know what I am inside.”
