In just the latest example of Saturday Night Live talent romantically linked to major stars who have guested on SNL, reports are swirling that Pete Davidson is dating Ariana Grande. The two were spotted together at a restaurant as well as hanging out at the SNL after-party on May 12. Davidson recently broke up with longtime girlfriend Cazzie David (daughter of Larry David), while Grande earlier this month announced her split with Mac Miller.

The Davidson/Grande hookup follows in the line of Fred Armisen‘s brief marriage to Elisabeth Moss (as well as a fling with fellow former SNL-er Abby Eliott), Jason Sudeikis‘ marriage to Olivia Wilde (after he dated Eva Mendes and January Jones), Colin Jost hooking up with Scarlett Johansson, Emma Stone‘s good times with SNL director Dave McCary, and Ben Affleck‘s romance with SNL producer Lindsay Shookus.

It should be abundantly clear by this point that there is something about a good sense of humor that sparks a relationship. And in this case, that goes both ways. Grande’s 2016 SNL appearance as host and musical guest back is one of the best episodes of the past few years. Her knack for scarily accurate impressions is probably quite the turn-on!
